altered 8.5” x 11” sheet of paper, metal clips
First rectangular hole was cut out in the top left corner of the sheet using a sharp exacto knife.
All the remaining rectangles followed in the manner characteristic for the Western writing culture (lines from left to right).
I tried to make the “bars” as thin as the paper lets me. While working I was listening to a rhythmic and repetitive music. No pencil outlines were made. Each rectangle was cut out “a la prima”.
