"Traditional Building Blocks" is an "ANTI - anti semitic" and "homophobia-PHOBIC sculpture. It is an expression of concerns related to most recent come back of the tendencies that seemed to be gone since the nazi Germany was defeated. There is no distinction between the "Traditional Building Blocks" and regular toy, except for the shapes of the elements. The yellow Star of David used to be a badge used by nazis to mark all the people of Jewish origin. Pink triangles were used to mark homosexuals. |
The whole object is made of oak wood. Building elements are covered with acrylics and glossy protective coat. The wagon measures 15" X 5". The wheels and a pulling string enable users to relocate the toy easily and to create compositions in various locations such as home, schools, churches, parks and sidewalks. |
